1. Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
You will be met on your arrival at Beijing Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)
Driver to Tian'anmen Square and take photos, then visit the Forbidden City. After lunch, tour to the Temple of Heaven.

Tian'anmen Square: The world's largest public square, Ti'ananmen Square is a vast desert of paving stones at the heart of Beijing and a poignant epitaph to China's hapless democracy movement.
Forbidden City: With a history of more than 500 years, it is the largest and best-preserved cluster of ancient royal palatial complex in China and home to two dynasties of emperors, the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911), who didn't stray from this pleasure dome unless they absolutely had to.
Temple of Heaven: Its Chinese name actually means Altar of Heaven - originally served as a vast stage for solemn rites performed by the Son of Heaven, who prayed here for good harvests, and sought divine clearance and atonement.
Day 03 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast in your hotel, tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall. After lunch, return to the downtown and see the exterior of Bird Nest and Water Cube - the Beijing 2008 Olympic National Stadium.

Mutianyu Great Wall: One of the "Seven Wonders of the World" and a symbol of Chinese civilization. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
Day 04 Beijing - Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)
Take a relaxing Hutong Tour by rickshaw at the Drum Tower area - it's a good way to know the Beijing local lifestyle, then explore the Summer Palace. After lunch, be transferred to the airport for flight to Kunming. You will be met on your arrival at Kunming Airport and transferred to your hotel.

Hutong: Alleyways and courtyard homes have been the signature features of Beijing's urban landscape sine the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). These homes traditionally comprised buildings built around an enclosed courtyard, but many have been subdivided in modern times.
Summer Palace: The huge regal garden in the northwest of Beijing is one of city's principle attractions and requires at least half a day of your time. As long ago as the Yuan Dynasty, officials set up their private gardens in this scenic area.
Day 05 Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up for a day of sight seeing of the Stone Forest. Drive back to Kunming in the afternoon.

Stone Forest: Situated in Lunan County, it is an area of typical karst landform with numerous groups of strange gray-black stone peaks and stone pillars. The Stone Forest covers an area of 400 square kilometers, is about 85 kilometers away from Kunming and requires 1.5 hours' driving.

Day 06 Kunming - Dali (Breakfast + Lunch)
Take morning flight to Dali. Take a boat to cruise on the Erhai Lake which is blessed with stunning scenery. In the afternoon, visit Bai People's Traditional House in Xizhou Town. Then go to nearby Zhoucheng Village to visit the traditional hand-made Tie-Dyeing Cloth with wax in the local people's home. After that, visit the Three Pagodas in the Chong Sheng Temple and explore Dali Ancient City.

Erhai Lake: It is a famous alpine lake in Yunnan. The lake lies next to the historic sites in the Dali valley and the natural scenery and good hiking trails on Cangshan Mountain. The lake is in the shape of a human ear. The lake water is crystal clear. Erhai and Cangshan enhance each other's beauty. The local people feel that this big lake with its clear water and its reflections of land and sky as well as the entire region are unusually beautiful, and it is another highlight of a visit to Yunnan Province.
Three Pagodas: They were built in the Five Dynasties (907-960AD). Standing like three legs of a tripod, the tallest of the three, Qianxun Pagoda was exquisitely constructed, with multiple tiers of eaves. It has 16 tiers that reach a height of 69.13 meters. In the central part of each facade, a shrine was built and a Buddha statue of white marble installed. They are well known in China for their size, beauty, and antiquity, and for their preservation.

Day 07 Dali - Lijiang (Breakfast + Lunch)
Drive 3.5 hours to Lijiang. Visit Sifang Street in Dayan Ancient Town

Lijiang Ancient Town: As one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites in China, Lijiang Ancient Town has attracted many tourists from home and abroad. Different with other old towns, it has no city wall. Lijiang features with cobbled streets, crisscrossing canals flowing with water, swaying willow trees and gaily-hued blossoms and many buildings and structures are in styles of Ming and Qing dynasties. The people here are mainly from the Naxi ethnic group and you can still see many older women dressed in their traditional attire. They have an obvious passion for flowers, as almost every courtyard is a garden.

Day 08 Lijiang (Breakfast + Lunch)
Visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the Baisha Murals, the Ancient Shuhe Village of Naxi people. In the afternoon, explore Lijiang Ancient Town - Dayan.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: The mountain is located 15 kilometers north of Lijiang, it has 13 peaks, stretching 35 kilometers from north to south. Shanzidou, the main peak, is 5,596 meters above sea level. Access to the mountain is provided by a cable lift to Yunshanping Meadow, halfway to the glacier peak. Every season, different kinds of flowers bloom and almost throughout the entire year visitors can see flowers in bloom.
Baisha Murals: Lijiang's murals are works of the Ming Dynasty, chiefly created from the Hongwu to the Wanli eras. They were originally distributed among the Juexiansi Temple and twelve others, nine of which fell to ruins. The remaining four temples have altogether 55 murals, with a total area of 139.22 sq. m.
Naxi people: Naxi literature is rich in form and content. Besides works by Naxi scholars and writers, there is a repository of oral folk literature.

Day 09 Lijiang - Shangri-La (Breakfast + Lunch)
Free in the morning. After lunch, drive 180Km to Shangri-la. On the way, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the First bend of the Yangtze River.

Tiger Leaping Gorge: It was named after a legend where a tiger jumped across the narrowest part of the gorge. It has a total length of 25 kilometers and with a depth of 3,790 meters, so it is believed to be one of the world's deepest gorges. The gorge is east to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and west to the Haba Snow Mountain.
First bend of the Yangtze River: The upper reaches of the Yangtze River is named the Jinsha River, which originates from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The Jinsha River flowed southward along the Hengduan Mountain ranges and was forced to the turn to north because of the Alpine movements which caused changes in the earth's physiognomy. When the river reaches Shigu Township, it makes an abrupt turn and flows further northward, forming the rare V-shape bend.
Day 10 Shangri-la (Breakfast + Lunch)
Visit the Songzanlin Lama Temple, the Potatso National Park (including Shudu Lake, Bitahai Lake and Xiaji Resort.).

Songzanlin Lama Temple: Covering an area of 33 hectares, it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. The monastery was originally built in 1679, and the construction took two years. The monastery houses many treasured works of art: golden figures of Buddha josses, Tibetan lections, golden lamps, silver censers and many more. All of these arts are wonderful collections from dynasties.
Bitahai Lake: It is located 35 kilometers east of Shangri-La. The lake covers an area of about 160 hectares with an average depth of 20 meters. Hidden in a dense forest, the Bitahai Lake is noted for its limpid water and its beautiful scenery which is set against the mountains.
Shudu Lake: One of the two beautiful lakes in Pudacuo National Park. The lake water is crystal clear. Around the lake, there are dense forests of fir spruce and birch. These are filled with wild animals such as musk deer, birds, wild cats, bears, pheasants and leopards, etc. Visitors can trek along the planked path by the lake to enjoy the picturesque scenery.
Day 11 Shangri-la - Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
Take flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to the hotel in Lhasa city (2 hours' drive), you will view the Stone Giant Buddha engraved in the mountain face en route. After checking in the hotel, rest in the afternoon to get adapted to the high altitude.
Day 12 Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast, visit Potala Palace, the winter residence of the Dalai Lama & listed as a world heritage site. After lunch in local restaurant, you'll visit the Jokhang Temple, which has a history of 1,300 years, it is the spiritual center of Tibet. Every day, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek here from long distances to worship. Finally, have a relaxed walking on Barkhor Street, it is dazzling you sense; it has all manner of goods from turquoise jewelry to meditation beads, colorful traditional Tibetan clothes and yak wool sweaters.
Day 13 Lhasa (Breakfast + Lunch)
The day's visiting is from the Norbulingka Park, the former summer palace of Dalai Lama. After that, come to Sera Monastery, one of Lhasa's two great Gelugpa monasteries, and the "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" in Sera is very famous. Finally, visit the Tibetan Carpet Factory.
Day 14 Lhasa - Shanghai (Breakfast + Lunch)
Take morning flight to Shanghai after breakfast. Take a stroll over the Bund and Nanjing Road.

The Bund: Symbolic of Old Shanghai, the Bund was the city's Wall St, a place of feverish trading, of fortunes made and lost.
Day 15 Shanghai (Breakfast + Lunch)
Visit the Yuyuan Garden and the nearby Chenghuangmiao Old Street. Transfer from hotel to the airport for your departure flight, we wish you safe and happy journey back to your home.

Yuyuan Garden: The best Chinese classical garden in Shanghai with exquisite scenery and abundant culture. History of the Yu Garden can trace back to the Ming Dynasty, while the Pan family, founded the gardens, and took 18 years (1599-1577) to be nurtured into existence before bombardment during the Opium War in 1842.
