1. Tour Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Kunming
You will be met on your arrival at Kunming Airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02
Kunming - Stone Forest - Jianshui (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast, drive 90 KM to Lunan county to visit the Stone Forest. Return to Kunming in the afternoon.

Stone Forest: Situated in Lunan County, it is an area of typical karst landform with numerous groups of strange gray-black stone peaks and stone pillars. The Stone Forest covers an area of 400 square kilometers, is about 85 kilometers away from Kunming and requires 1.5 hours' driving.
Day 03 Kunming - Xinping (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive from Kunming to Xinping. Visit Mt. Mopan Forest Park and villages of Yi and Hani minority people.
Day 04 Xinping - Yuanjiang (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive from Xinping to Yuanjiang. Visit villages of Dai minority people.
Day 05 Yuanjiang - YuanYang (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive from Yuanjiang to YuanYang, visit villages of Miao minority people.
Day 06 Yuanyang (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Enjoy a spectacular view from scenic mountain terraces at Duoyishu Village. Then visit Quanfu Zhuang and Qingkou Village where the inhabitants are the ethnic Hani people. After that, take sunset photos in Laohuzui Terraced Fields, Baoshan Zhai and Bada.

Yuanyang Terraced Fields: Located in the southern part of Yunnan Province, Yuanyang Terraced Fields are famous for its magnificent scenes and boundless area. The inhabitants around the rice terraces are the Hani, Yi, Dai, Miao, Yao, Zhuang, and Han People. According to local customs, the morning market is held at different villages each week. The ethnic people from the surrounding area come to the market to sell or buy necessities for daily life, providing many photo opportunities.
Day 07 Yuanyang - Jianshui (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)
Drive from Yuanyang to Jianshui, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the road. Visit the Family Zhu's Garden, the Confucius Temple and the Shuanglong Bridge.

Zhu Family's Garden: An example of a typical residential structure of southern Yunnan built in the end of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Zhu Family Garden covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters, every building in the courtyards enjoys an elegant and unique name. The garden has 218 pavilions and towers with steep ridges, painted crossbeams and intricate painted ceilings.
Day 08 Jianshui - Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)
Drive from Jianshui to Kunming, on the way, visit the beautiful Fuxian Lake in Chengjiang County.

Fuxian Lake: Covering an area of 210 square kilometers, it is the third largest freshwater lake in Yunnan. The environment around the lake has never experience great destroy, the lake water is very clean which you can enjoy the activities inside such as swimming or boating, and the fish in the lake taste good.
Day 09
Departure from Kunming (Breakfast + Lunch)
We offer 5 options for today's tour:
1. Tour to the Dragon Gate in Western Hills.
2. Tour to Haigeng Park by the Dianchi Lake, where you will enjoy the nice view of the lake and see many seagulls.
3. Tour to Golden Temple.
4. Tour to Bamboo Monastery.
5. Explore the Bird-Flower Market and Jinma Biji Archway.
Transfer from hotel to the airport for your departure flight, we wish you safe and happy journey back to your home.

Western Hills: The forest reserve on the west bank of the Dianchi Lake consists of the Huating and Taihan mountains. This is a colossal natural forest reserve in the midst of a lofty mountain range crisscrossed by babbling brooks and gurgling streams. Ancient trees are adorned with thick, lush foliage and birds chirp and flutter in the green treetops. Near the top of the mountain, is the Dragon Gate. Hacked from the cliff between 1781 and 1835 by a Taoist monk and co-workers, the Dragon Gate is a group of grottoes, sculptures, corridors and pavilions.
Golden Temple: Originally built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the hall of the famous Taoist temple is made of copper, weighing about 280 tons. All the interior settings including the gate, walls, columns, doors, windows, Buddha statues, altars and roof tiles are made of copper.
Bamboo Monastery: The first temple dedicated to Zen Buddhism in Yunnan. It dates back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The present structure mostly dates from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The temple's most outstanding artistic feature is the statues of the life-sized clay figures of 500 Arhats.
